Quick Start Guide

Launch Application

Double-click IronEmailsListTools.exe to start. No installation required.

Select Tool

Choose from 7 professional tools in the left sidebar menu.

Click "... Browse" buttons to select your input and output files.

File Format Requirements

Input File Specifications

  • Plain text files (.txt) with UTF-8 encoding
  • One email address per line
  • No headers or special formatting
  • Maximum file size: 500 MB

Example format:

user1@example.com user2@gmail.com admin@company.org

Advanced Features

File Information Preview

Real-time display of file size and line count below input fields.

Auto-Backup System

Automatic backup creation before file overwrite. Backups stored in %AppData%\IronEmailsListTools\backups\. Access via Ctrl+B. Last 20 backups retained automatically.

Recent Files Management

Application remembers last 10 used files and folders for quick access in file dialogs.

Logging System

All operations logged to %AppData%\IronEmailsListTools\logs\. Access via Ctrl+L. Logs retained for 7 days.

Settings Persistence

Window position, last used folders, and default options automatically saved.

Best Practices

  • Verify file format before processing large lists
  • Use case-insensitive comparison for better duplicate detection
  • Test with small sample files before processing full databases
  • Monitor status bar for real-time operation feedback
  • Enable auto-backup for critical operations
  • Review logs if operations fail unexpectedly
  • Split lists larger than 1M emails for optimal performance
  • Validate email syntax using Filter tool before distribution

Troubleshooting

Application fails to start

  • Verify Windows 10/11 64-bit operating system
  • Run as administrator if necessary
  • Check antivirus software for blocks

File processing errors

  • Verify file format (one email per line)
  • Check file size limit (500 MB maximum)
  • Ensure write permissions for output directory
  • Review error logs via Ctrl+L

Restore from backup

  • Press Ctrl+B to open backups folder
  • Locate file by timestamp in filename
  • Copy to desired location
